The Lake Brantley Rowing Association's mission is to inspire Leadership, Devotion, Determination, Teamwork, and a Desire to achieve greatness. We believe these are the pillars that form an athlete’s drive to reach their full potential.
We provide opportunities for instruction, training, and competition in the sport of rowing to middle and high school students in Seminole and Orange County. Lake Brantley Rowing Association offers a comprehensive training program designed to strengthen its student-athletes’ personal development. Our goal is to foster a sense of team spirit while helping athletes develop both physical and mental strength.
Rowing helps broaden horizons and teaches one to trust and support teammates while discovering your sense of confidence and commitment. This is because crew is the ultimate team sport. Those who join us tend to fondly remember their time with teammates as a highlight of their youth. Perhaps the most significant proof of crew’s impact is all the participants who row well into their seventies at masters’ regattas held throughout the country.
As a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization, we believe in the importance of investing in our community. LBRA engages in several outreach activities designed to promote the sport of rowing and to give back to our community. LBRA is always working on new ways to bring rowing to the community while bringing us closer together.
