Everyone Rows and Everyone Races!
We can’t wait for you to join our rich, 30-year winning tradition.
When you join the LBRA team, you’ll learn the principles of rowing from experienced trainers and develop techniques that will enable you to enhance your individual skill and work better in a team. We will first train you on our rowing machines to improve your form while enhancing your cardio and strength before going out on the water. Once you’ve completed your preliminary training, you’ll join your team out on the lake where you’ll develop cooperation and synergy with your fellow rowers.
Rower attrite should include:
- Running shoes
- Socks
- T-shirt
- Exercise shorts
- Refillable water bottle
High School is a pivotal time of change and development in any young adult’s life. With this change comes the opportunity to create a foundation of physical and interpersonal skills one can use for years to come. At LBRA, we can help you achieve excellent physical shape in a community that provides academic support while you develop leadership skills and learn to work as a team.
As part of our rowing team, you’ll have the opportunity to compete at the State and National levels alongside like-minded youths of high character. Colleges love high school athletes – especially rowers – because they know the value of hard work, dedication, and teamwork.
LBRA is an officially recognized club at Lake Brantley High School and competes in regattas throughout Orlando, Tampa, Sarasota, Jacksonville, Chattanooga, & Philadelphia.
